Im so glad to hear (no pun intended) Cullen got the job. Now if we could get Welker too that'd be perfect.

I thought Kaye's voice was like an evil aristocrat. Where Welker's is more like maniacle space nazi.

keep in mind that what we're talking about is character voices, not the actors' voices themselves. Kaye and Welker played the kind of characters that the roles called for. "Kaye is wrong for G1 Megatron" based on his work in BW is kind of like saying that Frank Welker is wrong for G1 Megatron because he used to voice Freddy in Scooby-Doo.

Really, is that true? I didn't know that.

 

Anyway, I am not sure who I want as Megs. Probably Welker just for continuity sake, plus it makes the most sense to me to use him now. But, I do have to admit I think Kaye's Megatron is much better for a truly evil and powerful leader of the Decepticons, and frankly I prefer Kaye's Megs to Welker's. Fortunately though, I am ok w/ either one of them (but that of course means that our chances of getting either are slim). If they use Kaye though, he has to say say "Yeeeesssssssss" at least once.
