I like this better than Tracks' Corvette body.  Aside from changing the head, the knee pads and stomach flap have been repositioned and there's been a little bit of painting.

 

*edited and added later* He is a bit dark, but it's not like Alternators Mirage looks like Mirage anyways.

that doesn't look bad at all. Needs some more red in the body to help the red face tie in better IMO, but style looks like they mesh pretty good.

Ehhhhhhhhhh.........I dont like it. I like the stomach repositioning but not the head. Cant get used to that. Sideswipe's head on Prowl I can take, Prowl on the Subarus is a no brainer but Tracks feels like Frankenstein or something to me. Like putting Woody Woodpecker's head on Bugs Bunny's body.

Alternators Tracks bares arguably the closest resemblance to his G1 self...I don't know why you'd want to mess with Tracks? 

 

(and no...I am in no way a G1 purist...I am totally the opposite)

 

Its different, and I guess its something that you wanted to experiment with!  Maybe you should paint some small differences, or make it your own character?

And I think I'm going to leave the engine gun together too, just like you have it on yours...looks kinda silly the other way

I'm lucky enough to work near a great comic shop that usually gets their Alts. right after Hong Kong.  This one was $38 Cdn ($34 US).

His regular release didn't look sleek enough for my tastes.  He was just so oddly proportioned and heavily armed in a way that didn't make me think of Tracks.  Besides, this is one of my favourite Alts. and Tracks was one of my favourite Autobots, so it fits to me.

It's hard to get his head to fit, but is only hard to do the first time.  His hands have to be lowered in last and tucked under his head, which I turned backwards.  Here's a pic, since it's hard to explain.

They're just rotated down.  There was no actual mod done to do that.  The stomach plate can be moved up without any modding either.
