Meh, let him whine. I'd like to see the look on his face when I'm at his door ready to beat him with it. :thumb

With 1/2" plywood?   J, you'd better be running scared...that could be really painful...like a slight headache or splinters or something.  You may want to start carrying a butter knife or AA Maglite with you to defend youself from this maniac...

Yes. 7 feet of it.

Wow...be sure to wear you safety goggles.  You don't want splinters in your eye when it shatters. :thumb

Did you end up using gold paint on it?

Yeah.....see for yourself!

OK, dude, Go make your own if you want "good craftsmanship".  I'm pretty sure you're just jealous, because, and now that I'm back from Transfancon, I DONATED IT TO THE OWNER BECAUSE HE LIKED IT SO MUCH.  He said he'll hang it on his wall, and I have pictures to prove it....will post tonight....

ZOMFG!!!!!

It's definitely an ambitious project, Onesock.

Though, I have to say that you reacted very poorly to criticism. If you plan on doing future art projects, you need to learn to accept critique. People saying that rulers and stencils might be a good idea is a completely valid critique and something that you should absorb for any future projects you do. Your project looks decent for a "1st attempt", but would you not agree there is room for improvement? If you think its 100% perfect, and anything you make will always be 100% perfect you will absolutely never grow as an artist. Learning to take critique is something every artist has to deal with...whether its very constructive or not. Garg was blunt, but he was also right.

Please try not to be so sensitive (and in many ways threatening with the "im going to beat him with it" comment). If you are just posting stuff so everyone can say "THAT'S AWESOME DUDE!!!!", then please put in your original post "No critiques, please".
