Hey, if you don't want opinions, don't start a thread.  I'm an art student in college, so I know all about what it means to take the time to make a project worth doing.

It's kind of distressing that you think that drawing is good enough for a final project, and you have access to large, cutting power tools...

A lack of artistic ability does not mean he lacks intelligence. Nor does it mean that he'd lack common sense either.

I realize that with your current collegiate course, you're more apt to want to cringe when you see bad artistry (I get that, I really do) but that doesn't give you the right to critique the person. (Now granted, he lashed out in retaliation, but you commented on it first in a rather rude manner. There's constructive criticism, and then there's dickery.)

If the work sucks, by all means thrash it if you must ('though I'd actually think it through first, because it's really not your place to be telling anyone about themselves) but there's no reason to go after the person's intellect to get your point across.

I'm rather shocked by you Garg...you're usually a lot more level headed and kinder to people than that.

Onesock didn't say this was an engineering project. It's art. It's subjective. If it's an engineering project, that would be different.

THANK YOU.

Meh, let him whine. I'd like to see the look on his face when I'm at his door ready to beat him with it. :thumb
