I'm not sure if it is old news or not, but I was in a TRU today and inquire about Alts stock, it appears that Alts are suppose to be 'discontinued' on TRU's computer system.  Is this store only or company wide?  :tdown

I don't know if this is company-wide, but with the way my local TRU has been getting more Alts(NONE!), I wouldn't be surprised.

 

That would be very crappy if they were....

Same I have noticed in my local TRU's. I have two in my area and one has none, the other has Shockblast still in the old box

My TRU hasn't seen any Alts. since Rico/Rollbar....although there have been rumors that Alt. Prime did show up in TRUs near me...

 

I hope to God this isn't true. It would mean that Target would be the only place in my area to get Alts.

 

Of course, they could sell better there, as Target would be the only ones to sell them and in theory get new ones in faster...:schin

The ones around here seem to have a pile of Blue-Box Smokescreens and Red-Box Shockwaves. That's it.

 

If they are dropping it, I'll be sad. I got my Swindle (when he was hard to find) my Decepticharge, Windcharger, Ravage, SmokeScreen, Prowl, and my first Alt Silverstreak at TЯU.

 

Tracks, Jazz, and Dead End I got online.

 

Hound, Skids, Sunstreaker, Ricco, Rollbar were at WalMart.

 

Shockwave and Wheeljack were Target.

 

 

Didn't really think about it until now but I got more of my Alts at TЯU than anywhere else!

Does sound like TRU doing too good. Actually, since my local TRU closed, the closest one is a good 20 min drive. I'm now just sticking to target and if I really have to, I'll go to walmart.

 

I hope that they start up with the G1 reissue again. I thought the next one was astrotrain. Any news on that from TRU?

You serious? Reissues have been dead for almost 2 years, and Astrotrain has been available exclusively on hasbrotoyshop.com for months and hasn't sold out yet.

G1 Reissues have not had anythign new out in the last 10 months except the SideSwipes that mysteriously showed up en masse at KayBe and the AstroTrain from the online store.
