I own the emporer/palpatine one, this is not new news

so i take it that this is the last wave of SWTF's since the pics released today were of the current wave and not the next one?

Yeah had mine for a while, even customized them already. Megs into Palpatine and Starscream into the clone.

I just got back from Walmart in Woodbridge, NJ and they had em...

 

I actually though about picking up the Emperor,

but I absolutly HATE his "hip wings".

 

Great looking fig otherwise. I can't pop out those metal pins, so I will pass...

He's not bad (except for the head) if you don't remove the side wings and just leave them folded on the shoulders instead of making the skirt. Makes the figure 10 times better. Also, Palpatine's arm articulation is the second best so far (just behind Vader) with 6 points of articulation including hand rotation. And he has the best lighsaber grip yet! No holding it by the end or having it be so loose that they're actually holding the blade. Arm/hand-wise this it the best figure of the line.

 

 

Clone Trooper is on par with the x-wing. Arms have OK articulation. Legs are lacking. Worse part of figure is the placement of the head. It's too sunken down with those two huge pillars beside it. Had Hasbro figured out a way to raise the head just a quarter inch, it would have made all the difference. Great BFGs though.

I though I heard at one of the conventions that there were going to be 11 molds. So far we only got 8 molds and 2 repaints. Plus we still have Millenium Falcon Han and Chewie to come (do they count as one mold or two?) So unless they were counting the repaints, we should be getting another wave with a couple new molds... possibly.

Yeah - Emperors wings on shoulders is 100% better then at hips.

 

I didnt realize this was to be a limited release line -i still wanna see a snow speeder from EMPIRE.

Actually I just saw the Millenium Falcon set at my local Wal-mart a few minutes ago...

 

 

I didn't buy them though, its totally out of my price range.
