Alt Motormouth

I found a digibashed Scion XB pickup on a custom auto site and G2 Motormouth/Ironhide mold came to mind.

This is my very first kitbash and I'm taking small steps. So far, I've only cut the rear windows off to form part of the bed. 646ce6f74ab1.jpg

I still have to touchup the paint, decide on a head, cut the rear window off to form the tailgate and somehow fabricate the rest of the cab and bed covering.  I've thought about hiding speakers, rocket launchers, a super engine or something under the cover.  I would like to keep the tailgate in one piece rather than splitting it in half, but I may have limited options there.

Anyone have any suggestions on fabricating the rear of the cab and bed cover?

Very interesting. You have to put rocket launchers there. The poor guy need some real weapons.

*is excited for G2 kitbashes*

You could try using part of the rear hatch/body to graft onto the front roof section to form the rear of the cab.

Should be interesting, definatly post some pics once you've got it all put together.

transformation would haveto be altered somewhat.the bed should be attached to the cab at all so that you can just split the legs apart and there they are.

I'd say this is pretty ambitious for your first custom myself.  Interesting choice of character too!  I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Thanks everyone! :) Hopefully I'll be able to work on him now that this dinosaur of a pc is well again... for now.

Hey Paul, then I could paint him gold and call him the Rocketeer! j/k  :tflaugh1

I can't decide since they'd be attached to his legs... Of course they could detach  and mount to his shoulders or possibly held upside down? I'll probably sketch some ideas tomorrow.

Ozrein: Hmm... That looks cool when the pieces are compared  :thumb

It would probably fix the unstable frame , but I can't quite picture it. (Been awake too long.) When you get a chance, could you sketch your idea and show me?

I really want to work on this, but I gotta get some sleep... I really appreciate the advice everyone. Take care and g'night TFans!

I kinda had the same idea awhile back but I planned to make it into Alt Huffer.Cool that someone is doing it...
