Just as the topic implies. I just did some quick Googling on one of my fave flicks about fake Star Trek culture Galaxy Quest. Looking at the images of the main vessel it looks alot like the Nemesis from BW even the escape pod looks like the Maximal ship too (couldn't find a pic of it though). Could it be that the production designers at Dreamworks liked Beast Wars?

Cool, your right, it does. But the Predicon ship from Beast Wars wasn't called the Nemesis. In fact, it didn't have a name. (i dont think)

Good find.

It doesn' officially have a name, but everyone calls it the Nemesis. The original TFs didn't have a name either, but everyone calls them G1. Big deal.

Oh and I noticed that too. If any of you is even the slightest Trek fan, check this movie out...it's very underrated by many for no good reason.

Wasnt the Predacon's ship called the "DARKSEID"?

They uncovered the original Decepticon's ship in the show called the nemesis

Galaxy Quest FTW!!1 Probably my third favorite movie of ALL TIME!!! And I never notice the similarities :redface

Errrr.

The Nemesis is the Decepticon cruiser that is found in, oddly enough, "Nemesis" (The finale)

The Predacon ship is the Darkside as mentioned by... Somone at some point...

WHATEVER

Decepticons are lame anyway

GalaxyQuest is, indeed, one of the greatest movies ever made.

Transformers fans who see homages everywhere are no different from people who see Jesus' face on a tortilla.
