Okay, those leapord skin seat covers are rofflicious. This is the first one out of the set I actually like. :thumb Primal is alright, but Rattrap, and Dinobot are big time meh.

 

Red alert for Rhinox would look cool but gray and green in alt mode would be seriously dull. :tdown

Was also expecting an Override repaint, but this is a pretty good one.

 

The head is very good and in combination with the spots it really is Cheetor.

 

I would've liked it better if there was a little bit less yellow and some metallic blue (the upper legs for instance).

 

After Rattrap and Dinobot, this one is a pleasant and successful surprise.

I just saw the BotCon price - $249 for members, $299 for others. What was it last year? Crap that's a lot of money for 5 toys and some junk :eek

As I recall, last year was $265 for members and $315 for non-members.

I like Primal, dinobot suxors hard. Never liked that stupid mold. Cheetor is cheesy, but his was cheesy in the show. As for rattrap I would like to see Brakedown remold. But the one figure I demand, is CD hotshot remolded into rhinox. It's big, bulky, armored, and loaded to the gills with weapons. If not, I'll make my own.

it's more likely to be tan, kind of brown with green (like in the reissue)

 

the pouint where that falls down is that cyb RA doesn't have a very rhinoxy head

I've really liked all of the figures in this year's BC set.  It's quite an accomplishment.

 

When everyone was mentioning Override or Hot Shot as Cheetor, I couldn't bring myself to agree.  I seem to remember that they said they were rying to keep all the moulds in the same size ratio as they appeared in the show.  (Hence Deluxe would be too large for Cheetor.)  Hence, I always knew they'd go with Basic size.  I was always thinking Brakedown though...

 

But this is awesome!  As I said.  Love the set immensely.  (Shame that I won't be getting it.  :( )

 

As for the Rhinox mould, I keep thinking that Landmine would make a good Rhinox.  (Probably cos it was first mentioned on the Allspark a while ago when rumours of this stuff was going around.)  And I could really see it working well.

I admit. This set is looking to be better than last year's. Of course, it's also 2 figures smaller for a savings of $15. :eek

the seats look rubbish.

A perfect Beast Machines Rhinox would be CD Red alert, but since this is beast wars, I        like the idea of CD Hot Shot.
