Transformers Movie Teaser Site Launched; Poster Re

BTW that eyeball is still giving me fanwood

speaking of which, the eye is blue. if it was Meg's, wouldn't it be red? maybe it's Prime's eye.

The eye belongs to the Autobot Symbol. *thought we established this on page one* Since it's an Autobot......do I need to continue?

And blue goes along with the overall color scheme of the poster: cool, blue, metallic, stony. A red eyeball would be too distracting . . . but if someone were to Photoshop a red eyeball I don't think anyone would complain.  :tflaugh

^Yes. Who cares. I would have never noticed cause usually on robot movies the eye is red.

I changed my desktop to this last night (thanks Madhammer) and went to bed. This morning, groggy and not completely awake, I drag myself over to the computer to surf the web with a cup of coffee.

As I jiggle the mouse to make my Strong Bad screensaver go away, this evil robotic eye I'd forgotten all about comes up on my screen and scares the crap out of me.

So, I wiped the coffee off my arm and sat down to post this.

I love this poster.

kinda like aliens vs predator?

and that, my friends, is probably the most accurate prediction of what the tf movie will be like.

HOWEVER, this does not mean that the movie will suck. the main problem with AVP is that the writers were forced to keep things to a PG-13 level while all the previous movies were rated R. at the best of times, tf cartoons were rated PG so a tf movie with a rating of PG-13 would actually be a step up :thumb

I thought the main problem with AVP was the hurried beginning.  The writers and the audience knew where they wanted to go (aliens fighting predators), so they spent as little time as possible setting up the story.

and I can't wait to see this poster in person.

Personaly I think it's gonna be more like Speilburg's 'War Of The Worlds'. Thats the vibe I think the poster's givening. Now I loved that film and I hope TF will be just as good (if not better) although I hope they don't consintraite on the Human too much. That was the let down for me on WotW - consintraited to much on the humans & less on the aliens.

Only time will tell.

Maybe because I've seen all the Aliens movies and I paid attention to at least the first Predator, The story in AVP didn't bug me. It all made sense and was well done IMO.

Before you think, "TMan likes every thing"

I thought "UltraViolet" sucked. I usually love every movie when I see it in theaters but that movie was Highly lacking something. I had no interest in the Characters and the over the top visual action made no sense. There was also no sense of danger for the main heroin.

it was a change, but it wasn't a perfect rendition.

the music on the site gives me a WotW vibe too.

I have a question. The TF have two forms. Does the amount of time a TF spends on screen in vehicle mode, you know for arial battles and car chases ect., Does that count as TF screen time or no?

Depends on if they are acting scentiently or not.  I 90% of the time, I suspect it would.

AVP sucked because the movie's fight scenes were so lame.  To much people, not enough AvP.  Bad acting and writing didn't help, but if the fights (specifically the current day fights had been better, it would gave been good).  The original alien got by on suspence, the 2nd one action, the 3rd on acting.  The original Predator was action and suspence.  With this one their was no suspence (you knew what was going to happen) or action (their was so little fighting and most of it wasn't well choreographed or explained.

That's like Freddy Vs Jason. When we were younger, those were some scary people. Now after countless movies and 100s of deaths, you know what's going to happen. The deaths are more funny than scary.
