Told you it works. That combination just looks like a bruiser, and it works surprisingly well. And thanks to the poseability in Rodimus' legs, you can even get some nice dynamic poses out of it, despite the Hot Shot torso being a relative brick.

The whole gimmick is that they CAN all be combined with each other. Hasbro never said you couldn't combine Hot Shot and Rodimus.

 

My preferred combines are HotShot/Rodimus, and Inferno/Prowl.

I don't like the look of that one too much, because it ends up with a really short looking torso.

 

My favorite combinations are this:

 

PL Hot Shot: - Rodimus Legs are best, followed by Inferno legs

PL Rodimus: - Prowl Legs

PL Inferno: - Hot Shot legs, hands down. Prowl only if there is no other way around it.

PL Prowl: - Inferno Legs are best, followed by Rodimus Legs

Well on the boxes its like combine these two ONLY....well not really but it gives that impression.
