i sorta like it also thier using the classic logo rather then the one used on RiD thogh to cybertron

Nice box, love the logo. I would've liked G1-esque style box, but it's all good.

My question is: Why are they more expensive than the Deluxe and Voyager class figs that are out now? Are they going to put rubber tires and more diecast metal on them? One could only hope...

YOU WILL PAY MORE BECAUSE THEY ARE G1 CHARACTERS. :P No, really. As has been said, these are possibly just specialty store prices. We'll have to wait and see what the actual department store prices will be.

Actually that wouldn't at all surprise me. Looking at the scan of both Prime/Megatron I'd almost be willing to bet they have chrome parts. :thumb As for Prime how could they not have rubber wheels on him. The design is a total throw back to G1/Rid after all. (as in it's realistic non fisherprice.)

Target employee info from a few months back (where we got the official tag of classics) indicated Target will be charging around $13 for deluxes, $20 for Voyagers

It's cool Packaging. Not that I give a crap about packaging...but still, it's cool.

Before anyone blows a blood vessel at the prices.........

those are for 'specialty' stores.

Shops like Wal-Mart etc will be cheaper.

you consider $14.50 for a delux and $27.75 for a voyager worthy of blowing a blood vessel? :wtf

well that is a 50% and 40% increase, respectively

IE: Its what England pays, give or take a few dollars.

The pictures need to be a little easier to see.  I don't see how that can be considered a Classics line, a repaint line, aye, but not a Classics line.  Maybe this time round we might be getting some TF's in the shops for longer periods of time.

Tony.

You did read the part about the characters in the packaging being placeholders right? Same with the pics of Starscream on the package, just place holders. We're getting new molds not repaints.

I like the packaging. looks nice enough and I liked Cybertron's packaging so this works until I get home, rip the figure out, and throw the packaging away.
