Josh did the artwork for Sprinter, my fan character based on the AE-86 Trueno. I Photoshopped it together.

AE-86 Trueno. What country is that from. Ive never heard of it. And BTW, its awesome to see somebody else from Mass. on this board.

The "AE-86" Trueno is the car made ridiculously popular by the anime Inital D.

 

It was made in the mid 80s by Toyota, and was officially a Corolla. Two versions were made, The Sprinter Trueno and the Sprinter Levin. The only difference was the head light style: Trueno had Flip Top lights, while the Levin had traditional front mounted lights (like the character in the sig).

 

Both were the last Corollas to have rear-wheel drive. With the RWD and it's light weight frame, it was perfect for drift racing (hence why it's the protagonist's car in Initial D).
