that astrotrain proto gives me grand hope

Finished figures never look as good as the protos, IMO.  Adding paint seems to take away from the fine detail.

Crosses fingers for Cosmos.............sike.

:tflaugh

actually I *would* like to see Galvatron.... but I won't get picky. It's cool enough that they're including any TF:TM characters at all.

That's my view on any line nower days. I'm just glad they're making any TFs. Then I shut up. Hasbro Rules!

yeah, but he's got far mroe detail than even 20th prime did. plus, there's the general AWESOMENESS of his robot mode and space shuttle mode.

I wonder what Prime will look like? My wife will be all, "didn't you just buy Optimus Prime?! How many do you need?"

it does make you wonder what he'll look like.... but judging from what they did with Astrotrain, I don't think Prime is going to be a 100% faithful reproduction of his G1 form, any more than 10th BW Megs & Primal are for their original forms.

yeah, but unlike 10th BW Megs and Primal I tihnk they're gonna be a bit more faithful to the original design and ideas and stuff. :tflaugh

As long as the dont look ass, like Primal does, I'm good. Astrotrain is really close to his G1 bot mode. So, Im not too worried.

well no actually, my point was that (IMO) Neo Astrotrain is to G1 Astrotrain as 10th Primal/Megs are to original BW Primal/Megs

I mean, they *are* both immediately recognizable as Optimus Primal and Megatron, despite the differences.

The fact that Astrotrain's train mode is a bullet train says a lot to me.

In before News Staff Deletes and reposts! :clap

The fanboy in me loves the G1 Homages.

But the Adult in me hates the money I'm gonna drop on these thing...
