then your watching the wrong show :thumb

lol @ the "dubs are wrong" metality.

CDF Scattorshot/ Backguild is a direct rip from Games Workshop's space marine whirlwind tank... those I use it in games from time to time.

All I know is that Hot Shot turns into a LAV-150 but what do the others turn into? :tfhuh

no mainline tf toys turn into real vehicles. they're all generic to avoid lawsuits.

I don't think that's the reason why. Other lines of TFs transform into realistic vehicles - BT/ALT, CR/RiD - roughly half of G1/G2 etc. Also, a lot of Mini-Cons transform into real vehicles too, e.g.: Sparkplug is a Lamborghini Diablo, just like Mach alert/RiD Prowl.

I'd say the main reason why Cybertron doesn't have too many realistic vehicles is because that's simply the theme of the toy line. Armada, Energon and Cybertron are lines that are based around fantasy-tech vehicles, much like the "other half" of G1/G2 (e.g.: Targetmasters, Headmasters, et al).

Actually Hornet is part right. The Alternators are licensed and when some RiD molds were reused in Universe they had to get a license from Dodge since Sideburn is a Viper. But for the Vanguard team they wouldn't need licenses to use real military vehicles since they aren't commercial vehicles.

It always makes me laugh too. I actually prefer to watch it in a language that I can understand. Thanks though.

often you get subs so the language thing works out ok. Plus with galaxy force you dont have all the energon armada plot holes to deal with so as a story it works out far better IMO also thiers the snazzy theme songs

back on topic i aways thoght they were based on real things then changed to make life easyer for the designers as i dont see many troop transports with huge scuds on top

Sonic Bomber/Wing Saber turns into a A-10 Warthog or something like that.

hes not vanguard tho but i agree on the A10 thing to

actually, the custom autobot symbols on his wings look like higher-ranking versions of the Vanguards' ensignas. i think Wingsaber was intended to be the captain of Team Vanguard.

Youll be telling me next that World War 1 tanks are copied from the Imperial guard  :tflaugh

Tis a MRLS, I couldnt say what type specificly as they arent my thing.
