I guess my question is - this is a TF site right?

how would a clear PVC of a generic anime (human) kid be a HOLY Grail or a SPECIAL EXCLUSIVE?

It seems about on par with having a squiggy elephant being the exclusive free prize to spiderman fans - just cause in one issue he shot webbing at a couple of animals....

:wtf

Who knows? It's kind of like how on another TF site, they claim that a "rare" G2 Protectobot is worth over 3 grand. :wtf It's all in the eye of the beholder. To me, all this stuff is neat, but not worth all the attention it gets.

i am not dissing the supporting cast (ie humans)- but it seems to miss the point to make them the "special figures"....

We get Transformers toys all the time, they're the line, but all the other non Transforming characters just fall by the wayside.

So releasing them as special figures at cons and stuff for those who want more than just the toyline seems a great idea.

Also, AI wasn't actually human, she was a computer program, and if I'm not mistaken was a "descendant" of G1's Teletraan computer, so it's not quite the same as a human figure.
