Okay, as some of you may remember, I did an Energon Megatron repaint. While well received, there were some valid criticisms, such as I had left too much blue on it. I also looked at it again, and decided that I needed to paint over the translucent parts...never much cared for that part.

 

So........I did some more painting, and I also repainted the tank he comes with as an homage to G1 Megs.....plus I really love silver.

 

That, and tonight starts up the voting for the next top custom of the month voting, so I wanted him front and center! (I ALMOST wanted to put my Energon Scorponok repaint up, but overall I like the sinister look of E-megs a bit more.

Actually, this one isn't totally current, obviously. But just imagine the translucent parts painted gold, and you have it. (I'd take a current pic of it, but dammit, I can't find my digicam right now!)

I think that's the shiznit!! :P

 

The colors remind me of the Power Rangers White Ranger, the one who had the Tigerzord in the original run. ..

 

Painting the knee caps was a HUGE improvement. The only thing, ONLY THING I could suggest to make it better would be to paint the face. Maybe a silver, or a more silvery blue vs the current blue.
