First Look: Cybertron Prime Redeco

Recommended Posts

he's the same color scheme as the soon to be rereleased Bendy prime :schin

$10 repaints aren't held to the same standards IMO. Plus, look at the difference between Cyb Megs & Galvy. That's a worthy $40 repaint.

This is one statement I would agree w/ (except I plan on waiting until it goes on clearance myself).

If they had made the Prime repaint as significant an improvement over the original as was Galvy over Megs, then everyone would be clamouring for it, but honestly that is pretty well impossible, and what they did give us was none too impressive.

Again, I just think this one is going to wallow on the shelves until the clear them out for the movie toys.

Saw this one coming a mile away... makes the LoC repaint look less random now

Doesn't make it any less stupid though.

What makes it stupid? It's kind of similar to the way they changed the RID Optimus Prime's colors just a bit, when they released that 2 pack recently.

But the RID Prime mold is also six years old.

and just as stupid (the repaint that is)

I don't mind the actual colors on this Cyb Prime, but .... why? Why not just release him in these colors to begin with?

does anyone else feel like this could of been our replacement for the 3H Hotspot/Defensor?

i think this thing would of looked great in those colours

I now emit a resounding 'meh'. This looks more like a recolor than a redeco. Again i refer to my comment about the Earl Scheib school of power-ups.

On another note, if they're doing a bendy prime like the armada one, count me in.That was the best prime ever. There should be an option on your w-4 to turn over 10% of your paycheck to Hasbro in advance, starting this year.

Just bring on the guy in my av. I see no logical relation to this new repaint to anything.
