Well if they can pull this off, which I can see Takara engineers being able to do pretty well, then I will be highly impressed.

 

Plus the MPSS makes perfect sense. A highly popular character that is assured to sell well, plus the obvious recolors/remolds, what is not to like? I am not even disappointed that Megs isn't next. SS is perfect IMO and a very good follow up to MPUM (which I got and am happy that I got).

 

I am TakaraTomy's Starscream when it comes to the MP line and I would buy anything they put out, but SS I think is a very good choice and I would happily pay $100 for this figure.

 

I am really looking forward to getting my THS-02 now, that is for sure.

Me, I'd look to have a Toon/Comic accurate, superposable Seeker TF. Everything I would have killed for as a kid is finally coming out when I'm damn near 30 :redface atleast I can afford it now.

In my opinion MP Prime does not look good in truck mode. I only transformed him twice in that mode since I have had him.  But an awesome bot mode.  Same I will be looking for in SS.  Don't expect him to look like a perfect jet, but does want a great looking bot.

I would just like to see a Transformer that turns into an actual jet that you don't have to look at top-down only. I don't think that's ever happened.

didn't Takara-Tomy say that they were going to concentrate on more fan-oriented tf's? a MP Starscream certainly qualifies as japanese kids couldn't care less about villians.

I really don't even care if Hasbro releases this. I don't wanna wait extra months and have to have this one neutered like Prime was, so I am willing to pay extra for the Takara version if it really is cartoon accurate and comes out sooner.

 

I do wonder what extras SS would come with? The crown obviously, we can see it in the pics. Another Megs in gun mode (as was suggested over at TFW2005) possibly? That would tend to make sense as SS used Megs in gun mode more than any other character, but does anyone think Takara would stick that in there again? I just wonder what to expect for the extras. Any suggestions?

maybe the megs gun would be WST megs for an added bonus.  Plus he may come with the bomb he and Archevil made or even Archevil himself.

Hasbro had better bring this one overseas.....
