I mean, it should have some source of inner-power or a link to some type of information to why there are Decepticons. Like a mirage that is hidden even to Unicron. A image of why he is evil and why he is the commander and could even relate more to Unicron above everyone else. Or some type of evil power source that before the birth of G1 Megatrons true form was found by him by mistake when he was weaker, thus making him that much more of a Leader for what he found laying around somewhere. Its kind of like Prime has the Matrix and its secrets. Well Megatron has his cannon and a story to it and why there are Decepticons in the Cybertron Realm. Some lost bit of information that wasn't never known about Megatron and to the Autobots.

 

I mean if I was a Decepticon and wanted Megatron dead, I'd think I'd like to handle that cannon. Its got to be one of the most powerful weapons the G1 Decepticons had. It isn't, because in reality its saying G1 Prime needs a bigger gun or something and that Megs could kill him if his Matrix was a GUN. But I think Simon totally forgot about this aspect to Megs. It could of change a lot of things inthe whole Continuity. Like a new leader everyone wants for Decepticons. What if Prime was killed, leaving the Matrix, AND/OR Megatron killed somewhere leaving his gun and all the innner hidden inlightment to it that isn't known.

 

What if there was no Hot Rod for Prime. That is fresh information for a good story too.

Now if all these things where real. You think the one to reign on Cybertron would have to obtain both the Megatron Cannon and Optimus Primes Matrix. Because that will be the final TRUE balance.

 

If this was true, you'd think there would be episode pertaining to his cannon. Maybe a Dececption built a machine and want to use Megatrons Spectral Cannon, has it has hidden and sacred abilites.

 

If it was true, there could of been a lot more G1 Episodes with Prime talking about Megatrons cannon as its like the Matrix. This could of brought and change all the series of today. Could of been a different Megatron for the newer series and the story would continue.

 

I think the problem is that there is the Matrix and you can't talk much about it cause Megs doesn't have one.

 

Also in all the series. How would you feel that you are Megatron fighting someone who owns the Matrix? Don't you think there should be more story to how Megs feels about it. I mean he's always fighting a guy with the source of Transformers, but he isn't apart of it and always loss's? There needs to be more indepth with Megs and the Matrix, much more...

 

I think its because Simon hasn't seen that angle of Megs, its alway straight down on paper trying to imagine. Not at inner angles and putting yourself in the whole of the series. And what I am saying is what the Transformers has become. Its just a new series over and over again... Hope you understand.
