You think they'll have the old theme with "Transformers, more than meets the eye, Autobots wage their..." as the opening titles/credits song, or will they do something else? Personally, I'd like to see an updated version of the old theme with new lyrics thrown in (obviously it can't be like how Lion did their theme for the movie, because the EVIL UNICRON isn't in this movie).

I hope it's not done in a cheesy pop or rap style, either... :redface

Expect J-Lo and Nelly to collaborate on the theme tune.

I'd rather see something from another style completly. G1 meets new age remix, that mix meets new age industrial trance.

They'll maybe give a little hint to G1, but don't expect just a rehash of the old stuff. It's 20 years old, for goodness sakes. Even Ninja Turtles got a new theme song!  :roll

I hope it isnt some Hip Hop junk. :Dc

what the hell is with the attached pic?

i hope it's brand new, and for Blots and giggles, Ministry does it.

I actually gave this a bit of thought a while back when the soundtracks thread was being debated.

Personally I think they should scap an introduction song altogether and open the film with a traditional score.

The end of the film though could have a remix of the original theme. Similar I guess to what either U2 or Metallica did for MI theme. Speaking of which I wounder who's doing the updated track this time around.  :roll
