For years I have been wanting to add Overlord to my collection and now I finally won him on eBay.

 

With shipping the price is around $100 so I think that is not too bad especially since he still has all the parts save for one missile and the grey car. Heck he even has 2 rifles and 2 guns!

He is one of the biggest G1 Decepticons allthough in the recent years a lot of big Transformers were released so he is a "outclassed" a bit in terms of size.

 

Oh well, he is still one of the more impressive G1 bots and a great addition to my collection.

Is there anyway I can get the extra guns from you?

Had not really thought of selling the extra Overlord parts actually. Once I have gotten him, I will think things over and decide. If he looks really cool with two guns I may keep it. In any case, I will have to research what a fair price is.

 

If I do decide to sell them then you will be the first to hear. Still need to get 2 Xbox games that should be out any time soon so I could use the cash. But I would have bought those 2 anyways so I guess that is a moot point.

 

I was wondering why no one tried to outbid me. I actually left work an hour early to make it home in time. I was outbid once on Overlord on the German eBay site and the seller relisted him on ebay.com for a higher price.  :grr

 

Do not worry godsenddeath, I am sure you will eventually find yourself an Overlord as well. He used to be on my list for years but patience does it.  :tftongue

Overlord rocks. When I was a kid I had a friend who had him... I wonder what happened to it :schin

Excellent find. It is always nice to win a bot much easier than you thought.

 

From all the talk I see about Overlord being one of the harder to find G1 bots, I would say that you got a great deal. You would know better than I would how much it is worth after trying for years to get one, but I would say that is a good price and a truly excellent addition to your collection.

Hopefully he still has it but I fear he ended up where a lot of childhood toys end up.

 

If one looks at all the Transformers sold without their parts then there must have been a lot of kids really careless with their toys.
