its not really about the head for me i think it looks crud. its about hasbro not looking after its fans and the terrible lack of service we get in the uk. the fact i dont really want it isnt the point its the fact that how it stands fans in the uk wont even get the chance and that dam right unfair.. hasbro sell us short consantly you cant even contact there uk branch and expect an answer. if you do your shocked. then hasbro.com,you ask them and they reirect you to the uk. as long as hasbro continue with US exclusives instead of line ones and neglect their uk fan base then they will never manage to make it big over here again in the market. you may think im just Starscreaming but any uk fan feels the same having to buy everything from the simple figure online paying stupid prices in cases. at this rate i might have to order hotshot off ebay. US fans might all say well i went into my local target,walmart and i dident get nothing new they had the same old whatever and how upsetting it is thanks to hasbros stupid disribution you get it all a year ahead of us. youve nearlly completed cybertron and are asking what ext we havent got anything yet were on wave 1.1

might i suggest that the average american child wont notice that he had to wait an extra 6months. (copared to takara)

and

if this is only in the first wave -the collectors and scalpers will have them - be happy - and the kids as a general rule, wont - so they wont notice that it doesnt makes sense. (as if making sense has been a priority for the shows as of late)

actually your wrong. im a dedicated collector and wont be able to get the primus including this as

 

A) its first wave only

B) if proto x is right and its a usa exclusive the uk first wave wouldent have them

 

i agree the more i hear about this the more of a cheap ass gip it is. the big hype that went on about this and all the secrecy just for cheap looking head that could pass for bludgeon just as good as unicron that only a few will get without having to pay over the odds on ebay and is a US exclusive so no one will ever see it outside of the states.

  i was really looking forward to this special incentive but i dont see how its so special as only some are getting it and it wont make you buy two so could there be something else i dont know

Actually i think your gripe is misguided.

 

Euro fans have been Starscreaming about being shafted in distribution for a long time.

That has nothing to do with Primus or his wiggly head.

 

I would ask you - if you are going to have to import either way - its a moot point.

You now have the choice. and I assure that places like BBTS will have wiggly headed primus's available as well as the regular versions.

And let me clarify - i sympathise for the Euro fans, i am not trying to blow you off cause i can walk to target and pick this thing up.  But i think its fair to say that HASBRO's version is different than Takara's.  In a year from now (or whenever) when HASBRO UK decides to release him - they will prolly offer the wiggly head too.

a unicron head is awesome - and US only is cause Hasbro is the US co - that don even make sense as a valid gripe - come on - they are kickass for doing this - I am stoked - so glad I waited - what is the deal with the half face gone?  Can anyone give me motivation on this one - even if it is an addition I won't mind - nothing will be 100% perfect - the head has been floating around through alot of series so possibly this is someting that took place somewhere - I thought that announcement was gonna just turn out to be bogus but this is a really neat addition - really proud of hasbro.

I think this is pretty cool. Hasbro didn't have to add anything to the figure. I only hope I can pick up an initial run Primus now so that I can add this little item. I hope Hasbro decides to throw in more little bonuses, but if we keep b*tching about it I don't think they'll be inspired to.

Would be cooler if the half face was like a removable panel or something.

 

But seriously - i was ambivilent on Primus because of his size - now i am thinking maybe yes - just for the floaty head of doom.

You have to wait either way, you have to import either way....

I think the whole idea was not to make fans happy, but to give retailers incentive to stock the figures.  We all see how large figures warm shelves, and because of that it has been hard to find the latest "bigformers" as retailers hesitate to make an order for them.  Now, throw in this head and make people want the first wave...first wave sells without having retailers mark down the prices...then the retailers are more willing to order more cases.

 

Thats what I think anyways.
