Beast Machines: The Complete Series Review

Recommended Posts

I find it interesting that the reviewer mentions that it was HASBRO's idea to make the series all religious and not Skir's.

Why would a toy company do that?

and if they did - why wouldnt they go the safe judeo-christian route?

Yeah, I still find it hard to believe that Hasbro wanted that, even now. Especially seeing as none of these ideas carry to now.

refer to the lame locked TF religion topic already in place at TF:GD

Um ok - so you are denying that thats what the reviewer wrote?

cause i can quote the article.

or are you denying that this is What Skir said? cause we will have to wait for the video to come out to be sure.

or are you denying that this is what Hasbro wanted - which makes Skir a liar.

Not really sure what you are objecting to - bottom line is:

this happened.

people were pissed.

Its hard to believe a TOY COMPANY would enforce that on their merchandise.

Just saying is all....

:tflaugh "safe"

Hasbro liked the whole "spark" thing that had developed throughout the BW series and wanted to expand upon it. The "learning how to transform" thing was another idea that came from Hasbro (and which Skir hated; hence not a single "I am transformed" in the second season, when he had total creative control over the show).

BTW COMMENTARY TRACKS ON THE FINALE = ME LIKEE :drool

So Cybertron cartoons have been making me blind? I knew it.

i guess i'm trying to keep this thread from becoming a suck ass religion thread because we've already had 1,000,000... just talk about the f'n DVD release

You know, I never noticed that before. I always kinda liked that line (except when Rattrap did it b/c he turned into such a wussy robot).

*finds it hard to believe that TF fans would have gotten angsty about a religious-themed TF show*

I think there was a small attempt to explain that when Cheetor mentioned how they had "mastered" learning how to transform in their new bodies... I don't mind either way, really.
