Mattel's latest wave of Batman actionfigures have their own version of the cyber key gimmick. if Cybertron toys weren't popular, i doubt that Mattel would rip them off.

but -wouldnt it take longer than that to "rip off" another idea?

besides- key activated gimmicks are not new.

ZOMG Matchbox stole the Transformers Cyber Key gimmick and then went back in time with their time machine to use teh gimmick for their 80's Matchbox cars!! :eek

RUN FOR IT MARTY

Damn! I was so about to say that. Transformers are ripping themselves off. remember Minicons like 3 yrs ago? "New packaging. Same Product....."

Key Car

Cyber Key

are very similar concept.

Mattel could sue Hasbro/Takara for stealing trademarks & ideas.

Wow.  I used to have a couple of these too.  They were fun... for all of 30 seconds.  Then again, I was never too big of a fan of simple cars (that don't transform :D)...

it doesn't matter, if it works well on toys what the hell. besides

i'd really like to see some new revamped headmasters and targetmasters with good modern articulation
