My BT Springer is finished!

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Just wanted to drop in and share some photos of my BT Springer I just finished.  I was inspired to do my own using the Mustang mold on inspiration from Superquad and Guld at TFans.  The robot mode is done, and I still need to take vehicle mode pics yet.......I'll have enough for a gallery tomorrow.  I am still adding one detail tomorrow.......a pair of chinese dragons to the middle of the doors.

Enjoy,

I again used Tamiya paints for this (spray) with the polymer mix and clearcoat.  I still recommend this as being THE BEST paint to use.  It's expensive, but you'll love the results.  Vehicle mode pics to come soon!

I like that springer pretty sweet. you should make body kit parts that clip on and off to give him his 3rd mode as a helicopter

i'm kind of curious, are paints like the one you used and Krylon Fusion good enough so you can transform your custom without worrying about it? and good job.

:tfhuh I'm still baffled by the amazing head sculpts on your customs.

VERY smooth paint application. I like the Blaster modification. I've already got some plans for mine....but time will tell how that goes.

And thanks for the nod bro :thumb

OOOOOOOOOOO!!!! My eyes! My eyes! Too much green, dude... But its great!  :thumb

How do you get the mustang's doors to swivel back like that?
