Personally I'm really not caring for this alt. As a Ram Prime is solid but the bot mode has serious issues. The arms don't bother me too much but as I've said from the beginning the legs altogether suck. Sorry to base this on a simple testshot but I'm assuming you have him transformed pretty close as he should be. There is so much i don't get about this mold based on your pics. For one is the hinge on the leg really necesary. You basically fold it together spin it around just so the foot/toe faces down. Why? It's just outlandishly stupid. He's a spychanger already so why not just have the toe fold down and be done with it.  :roll Also for what reason if any could the legs not extend and knees actually be visible. Hate to knock an alt but why only design a figure only halfway and call it done.  :wtf

 

Will I buy one? Perhaps, but not before finding Prowl, Skids, Sunstreaker, and perhaps Shockwave. Only then, maybe. :thumb 

I finally got a chance to read all the posts to see what the whole mistransformation thing is....weird. It doesn't looks like the legs extend. Perhaps with the crotchplate down, the legs seem shorter.

 

Oh well, I may have to get one my self to see how people can transform him with the grill appearing intact just like in car mode.

Bainreese, do you see this from the back of your Prime? Just wondering if that piece which flips down is supposed to come sit further back in...

 

If not, it could just be the angle which this pic was taken.

I guess, maybe the shins are changable just to make his remold different when it comes out. The knees drive me crazy. I know they were going for vehicles being the same scale but the bot modes too? Gawd. I just knew he'd  be tall. I got my hopes so up.

I still think that the larger size vehicle = simpler design for cost purposes.

 

My bigest question right now is still - the shoulder pads look so flimsy.

Using RodimusVTS KB and armada and Laser rod primes as comparison

There is no reason for the shoulders to not be solid.... every pic i have seen makes them look like they are just swinging in the wind....

Definitely will get this one as i believe Every alternator is a must buy at least ONE version of each mold.

 

Lets hope they let us know about the fate of Ironhide (Scion) and Trailbreaker/Xbrawn - whatever black repaint RAM is coming

soon so we can decide whether or not to KB this mold...
