      I beleive that Arron Archer is hiding among us getting new ideas for Alts, and any one of us could be him.  Is it you Loki, how about you Weirdo, or maybe you Rodimus VTS, or maybe It's me  :wtf.  And I beleive he lurks around the custom section, and the ideas for possible future Alternators thread.  I mean think about it for a second, we painted our own Sunstreakers and made so many suggestions for an offficial release and BOOM we get one.  And now we said we want the one of our fav Decepticons to be released first with an Autobot repaint second and BOOM we see the Alt Rumble Honda Civic SI.  So Mr. Archer If you are here give us a sign like confirming the repaint of Rumble will be Frenzy, and the repaint of Prime will be Trailbreaker.

Well, first of all, I believe Hasbro said at this year's Botcon that they do not take fan submissions as potential toy ideas.  Now you can take that as heavily or as lighly as you want.  I think we've seen proof that people from Hasbro employees browse the boards occasionally.  They'd be stupid not to see how the fanbase reacts (keyword) to the products in which they consume.  However, to say that they need the boards to generate ideas is a bit absurd. 

 

I've discussed this at length in Rodimus' VTS thread of his own kitbash.  While VTS has created a magnificent piece (my hat's off to you again VTS  :thumb ), the rumor for a Dodge Ram Alt/BT was flying around for a LONG time.  Takara was the one who insisted on it being a Prime (because of their fear a not so popular character would sell). 

 

Sunstreaker was planned by Takara for a long time and even at last minute was he changed to a Decepticon as Dead End (See BT Complete Guide for proof).  The Honda Civic has also been rumored for a while as well. 

 

I think this is more wishful thinking than anything (and a running joke as well, and also as I am also privy to).  We see customs like anemis' MP Megatron, VP's WW Grimlock, Lobo's Alt Grapple . . . well you get the picture . . . just great customs.  We really want Hasbro/Takara to make these or things like them. I think one of the special aspects of customs is that they are one of a kind.  That being said, there are a ton of customs I've seen on the boards here I'd love to have, but I simply don't have the cashflow to give the artists' their respective dues (addressed in another thread I believe).  And as much as I'd like to see some of my own customs see a mass release, a part of me wants them to be my own babies. :tflaugh
