Cybertron/Galaxy force question

Recommended Posts

Galaxy Force is not apart of Micron/superlinx series.

Cybertron however is apart of the Unicron triology ((Uber ghey name))

Actually, Galaxy Force IS a sequal to Superlink.

Most notably:

Yuki Hisashi says the following. Transformers Galaxy Force is the final installment of the Micron trilogy that began with Micron Legends.

As a toyline yes, show no.

Not too mention that Takara doesn't seperate the toy-line from the show, in fact, they more often than not design their toys to resemble their show counterparts as closely as possible.

My understanding from all the TF lines is that Takara/Hasbro comes up w/ the initial designs of the toys and then the animators use those molds as a basis for the appearance of the characters on the show.

In other words, toys first, show second, not the other way around. After all, why would the toy company let the animators design their toys for them?

Sorry, I misspoke. What I meant was that Takara colors their toys to match their show counterparts.

I think the key word here is "trilogy"...

As far as I can tell, "trilogy" means a set of 3, but they may or may not necessarily have to follow through exactly.  (some Super Sentai series come to mind...  for example, Chou Seishin Gransazer, Gen Sei Shin Justiriser & Chou Sei Kantai Sazer X are part of a "trilogy", but they don't have anything to do with each other...)

GF does NOT follow on from armada and super link. There is no... 'link' at all between armada/superlink and GF. If there was.... earth would know about transformers, as in superlink it was globally known.

Also the planets created at the end of super link... were are they in GF? :P

The creators only ment "trilogy" as all 3 serieses have microns in. And THATS IT.

For all you poor people that wach cybertron, you need to get over the fact that H-a-sblo changed the plot to try and link superlink/energon to gf/cybertron. They failed in doing so. On top of that.... the voice acting sucks (apart from prime and megs they are the usual suspects, they are good at what they do) hot shot has the voice of one of thestupid kiddys from armada... doesnt fit. The aussy accent doesnt go with what they call 'jetfire' and... I could go on heh...

The cybertron theme also sucks... alot. And the intro were prime announces the tf names is just lame.

3rd time lucky didnt apply to h-a-sBLO haha ;)

EDIT: that is some lame script you got there to make "hasb-lo" into... hasbrohasbro etc.

True, but the main problem is the fact that all three series were made by different companies and unfortunately the storylines reflected this leading to a very mismatched trilogy, if only the one company was responsable then a more 'graduated'solid storyline would have emerged.

From what I understand Micron/Armada and Superlink/Energon were done by the same company

We may have to check our facts carefully, but from what I recall ;

ARMADA was done by the same company as RID,

ENERGON was given to the company that did the Zoids series due to fans wanting "more cgi content" but resulted in size/transformation inconcistancies ( omnicon Skyblast, a 2 cockpit jet the size of a surf board!) and no to little personality for all caracters! :tdown

Cybertron (of corse) went to GONZO who finally delivered the best 'aneme' series to date !

It's a pity the people responcible for dubbing the Cybertron series don't know what their doing, Galaxyforce ( as a stand alone series ) totally ROCKS even tough it starts slow

I beg to differ.  The dubbers know exactly what they're doing, and they're doing it well.  They're making the show fun.
