Since the beginning. I got Huffer in 1984 and have been collecting Transformers for most of the rest of the time.

i just bought tf's whenever i could even after i was little, but when i came across a LARGE find in 2000 i realy got into it. been going strong ever since, started with 50-70 tf's now i'm over 1000. :)

back in 84.  It all started with the song.  The rest is history.

I moved on to the Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, X-Men, then DBZ before coming back to Transformers thanks to the Alts. I got the BW,BM,RiD,Armada,Energon figures for my son and continue to do so with the Cybertron line but what brought me back to TFs was the Alt line.

I loved them when the show came on in 84, then after they went off the air my interest stopped.  Beast Wars came on and I shunned it away because there were no vehicles.  RID came on and I thought it was way too cheezy.  A friend lent me some old G1 vhs tapes and that got me hooked again, and this was around the same time Armada hit the air waves.  Armada helped me get back into them.  Now, I like them all.

Even Beast Wars? Beast Wars was what brought me back into Transformers. I thought the Japanese G1 cartoons were painful after NorAm G1 cartoons when off the air.

The cartoon aired on Sky and much later on RTL4 (local channel).

I collected the toys though not all of them as my allowance was not big enough. Always loved the cartoon and even bought the complete Japanese series off eBay. (Copied on cd-rom.)

Thought it would be like the US G1 but it was not. It was a HUGE dissapointment.

Did not collect BW figs until they were on sale (have always been sucker for a sale) and bought the occasional figure untill Armada. Bought the molds I liked and then with Energon I became a mold completist.

My first Transformers were Nightbeat and Guzzle. I had gotten a few before (small ones) but never knew they were Transformers. Sadly red Bumblebee was among them and he did not survive my childhood. :tfsad

Huffer is a sissy. :P

I've been into them forever, because my brother was into them before I was born.  I did take about a 5 year break between playing with G1 and collecting RiD.  I watched BW and BM when it was on, though.  But I was at that age where toys aren't cool.

I was introduced from BW, but I didn't really get into them until RID.
