Cybertron Hot Shot in 1986?

Recommended Posts

I don't know if any of you have had a look at the older cover of Transformers the movie from 1986, but if you take a good look, you'll see a TF that looks almost like Cybertron Hot Shot behind Hot Rod.  I noticed it when I decided to watch the old movie again after so long of not wanting to watch it.  The old cover should be easy to find online if you don't have it on your copy.

The UK cover with Prime and Megs fighting in the middle of the picture, Megs with the shard of metal that he threw into Prime's side.  Unicron on the top left corner.  Just at the bottom of the cover, you can see Hot Rod and another vehicle.  It's not crap, geez, why not take a good look?  It's hard to make out, but the cover is easy enough to find.  It's not as common as the US cover, but the UK cover can be found online.  It's not Hot Shot, but it does almost look like his alt. mode.

if that's the case then why can't you post the image or link to it?

Because I tried to post a link, but it is hard to make out and the image is very poor quality.  I wuld have to scan my own copy in and I can't do that since I don't use my own computer anymore.  It does look generic, but it's a close match to Hot Shot's alt mode, maybe even Armada Wheeljack's alt mode.  It's not 100%, but still, it looks quite close.  Yahoo has two images, poor quality and require a good hard look, I'll see if Google has a better image.

I cant see it. *eyes not what they used to be*

It is really hard to make out with such poor quality pictures, maybe there's a way of enlarging the picture.  I've just tried and it makes it even harder to see.  It's there though, hard to see, but it's there.
