If you had a say in what kind of TF you would want, what would you come up with?  Like, for example, if they did a 25th anniversary Optimus Prime a few years from now, what would you want to see in the TF?  Here's my idea for example -

 

Autobot, name of Sayato in Japan, called Lesira outside of Japan.  The alt mode would be an articulated truck, 18 wheeler, 21st century design with full details.  Trailer would be capable of being opened up by both the sides and top to reveal a six station lab/sick bay.  The transformation would result in the legs forming first from the lower half of the cab, and then finishing with the arms coming from the back, the head sliding up with a 360 range rotation, plus up and down poses.  The face could be done with a face plate or without, both can be switched back and forth by a little lever like with GF/Cyb Op. Prime.

The hands would be fully articulated with the gun having a trigger guard where a finger can fit in and look like it's really on the trigger without being loose.  Extra weapons would be a laser scapel that can be lengthed to become a sword, a smaller missile launcher that slides up from the back and clicks next to the head.  The feet would have an extra mode where they can be altered to work on rougher terrain.  There would be no fancy battery gimmicks, no gimmicks at all.

In vehicle mode the extra weapons would be small guns coming out of the headlights and sides with a strong press of a small button placed on the top of the cab.  The interior would look real and in a UK/mostly European fashion with the sterring wheel on the right side of the cab, plus what looks like tiny bunk beds in the back like in real trucks, well at least here they have that in some trucks.  The trailer would also have weapons that can be hidden away by clicking them into the sides of the trailer.  The trailer can also be opened from the back and be abl to store four mini cons, two medium sized TF's or one deluxe in alt mode.

 

In robot mode, the arms and legs would have a full range of articulation with a very good weight balance to allow for one foot poses, even crossing the legs and having the TF sit on the ground in a meditive style pose.  Along with weapons and medical and science tools, the arms or the side of the head would have a tiny communicator that can be brought out by a very light tug or by flicking them up like with MP Prime.

 

That's just an example idea, for me that would be a TF I would love to have a part in making since I created the character of Lesira a few years ago.  What would the rest of you come up with for your own style of TF if it were possible?

If they are going to make any new molds, let's have other characters made instead of "Optimus Prime." We should have more homages to G1 Megatron, Shockwave, Soundwave, Grimlock, or Jetfire.

Only when "ghey" stops being the pop-catchphrase on these boards.  And when pigs fly.

 

And Cybertron has plenty of realistic alt-modes to go along with the futuristic ones.

 

If we were in charge, I'd slip in a request to one of the higher ups right then and there to can the line completely, before it becomes a rediculous parody of itself, pandering to delusional fans of a 20 year old property who know nothing about the toy industry...

quite agree with you.MP rodimus may next goal for Takara.

but what kind of transformers they should design?all the figures can merge and have powerful weapon

well if i could be top dog for a day idd give good old optimus prime a rest not kill him off but do they next show as a side story with new heros and villans kids are not going to care if thiers no new megs screamer or prime for 8 months if need be they could carry over the last design in new colours

 

also idd do a side line of BT/alt sized and standard toys they would be like mini Master peaces of characters from all over TF history from chrome dome to dinobot, god ginrai to grim lock
