What's your favorite Transformers music?  (Example: This ones my favorite...G1 Stan Bush's song "the Touch")  It doesn't have to be from the movie album; it can be anything.  Their theme intros could be your answer; but please just give me one anwser.

Only one?  It would have to be either The Touch or the opening theme to the movie.  That was a cool remake of the TV show theme.

Do you plan to make collection of TF music available here?

The Beast Wars theme song is my favorite TF song.

Itsumo, the first ending theme to Galaxy Force.  It's beautiful even as a stand alone piece, and makes for great listening.

I'm probably one of the only ones...but as far as opening and closing theme's go...Transformers Armada was always my favorite.

I also found this awesome G1 theme by Jarek Zabczynski on the internet...many of you have probably heard it, but if not...check it out...

:pfx That is a beautiful piece. But as for me, I like "Dare" by Stan Bush. I also like the begining part of the season 3 intro.

I loved the Beast Machines Opening music.... *ducks and runs for cover*

Seriously, I even went and bought the Leftfield album "Rythm and Stealth" when I found out they did the song, and that it (Phat Planet) was on that CD.... it's actualy some good trip-hop stuff.

US: the movie

Jpn: Zone

I randomly inserted TF:TM soundtrack in the CD player of my truck the other day (where it still remains :tftongue), and I really like the whole album.  "Dare" is one of my favorite songs, but I really like the whole thing (though "the Touch" is starting to sound a little cheesy to me, it works for me in it's place in the movie and even in tRoOP at the end of Season 3).  "Autobot/Decepticon Battle" is probably my favorite on the album.  In contrast to how I feel about "the Touch," I feel that "Autobot/Decepticon Battle" still has an edge.

Just a few things about that album:  One of the reasons I like this soundtrack so well is that when it came along side the movie, the whole thing had an edge.  Here we basically have a young boys play things translated from a daily cartoon into the big screen, and TF:TM did a lot of things to be edgy for its time.  This soundtrack did that (along with some of the themes/content in the movie).  "Instruments of Destruction," "Hunger," and even the metal-rock Transformers theme all musically did this for the movie.

Another thing is that [i feel] Vince DiCola did a lot musically to make this movie great.  I really love how he took his synth work, industrial rock, orchestra themes, and even pop music (he did co-write "Dare" with Stan Bush) and fused them seemlessly into his own blend of style.  I also love how he did this with his subject (big fighting robots) in mind.  His music does a lot to make the robots feel organic and alive but also mechanical (I love the Unicron theme; he makes Unicron feel like this huge living factory).  I just thing Vince's work is brilliant on TFs.  Vince DiCola autographed my TF:TM soundtrack at Botcon 2K1. :tfgrin

Aside from that, I have to say that I still like the Transformers (season 1/2) opening and closing themes.  I actually really like the RiD theme.  I really like the first GF opening theme.

And, this is crazy, but I like the stock "rock jam" from "Autobop." :tftongue
