Well, I know some of you saw this link in the customs section (I posted it there because I have done some things to customize my cabinets), but I figured I would post the link here in its more appropriate place.

I think the pics speak for themselves.  Enjoy! :tflaugh1

Nice collection.

It is kinda hard to tell exactly what you have b/c they are all kinda jumbled in the cabinet, but from what I can see, it looks like you have some great, quality stuff. All your figures look to be in great shape, and it looks like you have some good ones.

It is interesting how you mixed all the lines together like that, G1 w/ RiD and Beast Machines, etc. I have never seen anyone do it like that, but it works for your battle scenes.

Nice collection, cool custom cases, cool lights. Need a little bit of work on the picture taking (they don't do your set-up justice), but aside from that, everything looks great.

Nice collection!!!!!!!!!!! I can't do battlescenes cause mine are all boxed.

Yeah, it's one of those things that can only be fully experienced in person.  Having action figured lined up, face front looks nice on the shelf, sure, but it's more exciting to me to have them locking in battle.  You can't have everything I suppose.

Sixty percent of those (or so) are from my childhood (my MIB Fort Max is believe it or not, and I have always been maticulous about taking care of my things.  Of my original collection, I still have all accessories, instruction booklets, even Robot Points. !

My G1's are arranged by pre-movie and 3/4 seasons for the most part.  After that is where my collection sees the most gaps, so I started taking creative liberties with my storylines. :tfgrin

As this thread says, I had just gotten a new digicam for Christmas.  I have been working with a 1 MP digicam for over 5 years now.  There are pics with both cameras of the G1 cabinet (the second cabinet didn't exist when I first took pics!) and you can do quality comparisons.  My bedroom at my parents house is in the basement and light is minimal (which is the main problem).  The pics with my new digicam (if you compare) are worlds different in quality than the former.  Thanks for the comments!

As previously stated, around 60% of my collection is from my childhood, so when I was 5 years old I wasn't as concerned with things being MISB or even MIB.  For the most part my TFs are in great shape to be over 20 years old, however, I have a few that are bit worse off.  I had my G1 Mirage litereally shatter in pieces when I was trying to do the waist repair and I still haven't found a replacement part.  All of my G1 cars suffer from the broken roof syndrome as well.  Other than that, I'm either good or have already made suffient repairs.

And it's only by the grace of God that my Fort Max still has his box . . .  :tflaugh

I actually got that for Christmas one year from my first roommate in college.  I'm sure you can find one on-line for a reasonable price  :thumb

It would be cool if you'll follow-up your pics with close-ups of each rack.

Well, it being Christmas and also the fact my wife and I only get to go home twice a year (Thanksgiving and Christmas), my time was really limited.  I took about 180 pics and I thought I done extremely well to do that.  However, I did get my G1 shelf pretty well if you look in the G1 Goodness folder.  Enjoy!
