Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me and show me how the custom boxes are done?  Who does custom boxes?

thanks,

john

simple you add attachment if you have the picture please note that to make sure the size is not to big and to use jpgs or just add a link to the image if is uploaded on photobucket etc

sureshot makes custom reissue boxes and so does mirage boxes do

sureshot is a member here maybe you should contact him

You know, if a person would stand up, Say I make great custom packages, I'm pretty sure they would get alot of work specially over at Transtopia. (www.tfmaster.com)

Kitbashers always want professional looking boxes for their customs and the New Alt Boxes would be perfect to replicate and reproduce since they don't take up alot of space to be produced.

If anyone here does custom boxes please contact me here.

I've been trying to tell people for a long time now that I make custom boxes.

Here is a completely custom box I made from scratch:

and here is a link to the other reissue boxes I've done.

now, making a box from the ground up like the shockwave one would cost around $125... BUT, if someone else wanted one, then the price would go down because I'd be making multiples. Boxes like the reissue ones I usually charge about $30ish for one (which is panels adhered to other reissue boxes).

Never tried to make a smaller box like mirage boxes does.

Youd really think those were the real deal

Do you take the custom box pictures to a professional print shop or do you have a colour laser printer?

neither... just a $25 bubble jet printer... and they look fantastic in person... i can get about 4-5 boxes from one printer (after which it's cheaer to buy another printer than to buy the ink carts)
