A somewhat easy repaint using the Swindle KO with Hound wheels and head (Swound???). But as pointed by Rawhide & Bluavenger, it barely resembled the ehobby Hound... so behold, an improved version!

 

But unlike Bluavenger Alt repaint (wich i never saw until i made this thread last week), i tried to stay close to what Takara/Hasbro could make, basically the color of each piece. In both Jeeps released for example, feet, upper arms and hands were kept black, so for this repaint, i did the same. The same goes for other details

 

 

 

 

Either way, i had to remove all the vehicle bars, since the seats broke... Alt mode pics later, once i make a full photoshoot for the gallery :)

No offense intended, but it really doesn't look like Detritus to me. D was a sand and brown colored repaint of G1 hound and this is....well, white with blue.

 

At first I thought you used to KO white hound, but when you said it was a KO Swindle I took another look (even went to my knees to see my laptop's screen from below -- makes the colors darker), but I keep seeing it as white and blue.

Well, its not white, but a light cream/tan color, similar to RiD Obsidian base color. I guess from the pics it looks white... but i guess youre right about the blue (its actually the same purple i used for my Bludgeon)

 

As for transtopia, the forum is going thru maintenance :P

I like it a lot overall, I could see the main body color going just a bit more toward tan instead of white, but it's really nice.

I can even see that it's not white now. Although personally I'd still go for a more sand & brown look, I can see this is as a Detritus now.

 

(Just out of curiosity...wouldn't it be simpler to use a Swindle with Hound & Rollbar parts? You know, the car parts from Swindle, but the tires and head from Hound, and the arms and part of the legs perhaps from Rollbar...No painting required, just swapping some parts to make him different enough in robot mode.)

I still think that becuse his bio says that he will work for eather side, and the Ehobby ver comes with eather bot or con sticker's.  that he needs to have both an autobot and decpiticon logo on him.  It could be easly done with that little peice on the hood that flips over to hide hound's autobot logo in his alt mode.  All you'd have to do it stick a con sticker to one said and a bot sticker to the other
