I don't look for toys that much, but is this normal for Soundwave?

with the tapes and everything in great condition id say yea

what xamot said, it's the fact that there are all those tapes, and then a few extra tech specs can also add a bit. figure $75-100 for the soundwave, I've seen ratbat and ravage fetch $25 a piece so that 175-200 right there. overall it's a average price i'd say.

Actually a complete Ratbat with ears intact (as they appear to be from the picture) can fetch around $50.

Ratbat for $50?  Incredible :eek2

I paid $15 for my Soundwave.  But he needs his weapons.  But still, looks good on the shelf as is

nice.

better than reissue

Complete G1s with their original boxes and tech specs can fetch a pretty penny esp. when you throw in all the little accessories (tapes) that you would normally have to buy seperately from the main figure.  All in all this figure is in excellent condition for a toy that's close to 20 years old now.

last year on evilbay i got a soundwave with 7 tapes with all the weapons for each of them(including soundwave's) for 45 bucks      i guess ebay cant be bad all the time eh?
