We've had enough reboots already, Armada-verse, Dreamwave, IDW, the new movie. I hope we stick with something for a change.

I agree.  But, in terms of chronology, I only take the G1 cartoon, plus Beast Wars and Beast Machines as gospel.

well they restarted with Galaxy Force in japan and im happy with it

I agree with doncassetti weve had restart after restart over the last 5 years IMO i think they should just try to keep the  current thing going with Galaxy Force only.......

keep Gonzo as the animation company it bugs me to no end that every show has changed style totaly over the last few years

No new toys bodys for characters all ready in the continuity. Idd like to have 2 or more series with a prime who looks the same. They came add more characters to link up with him

no rebirths idd love it for a character to stay dead

decepticons who arnt funny GF Star Scream and Master Galvatron are gr8 example. leave the funny to the autobots

I don't need order or Crisis style nuttiness. Just leave the current fiction be. It doesn't need esplainin' y0. My view on TF fiction is I don't care what approach they take, just deliver solid storytelling. And for that to happen it has to return to this side of the pond.

Well I agree with that too. To a point but if they are going to say that this guy is somehow connected to this guy because of this then shouldn`t it be because of something the fans knew from the past? Like in Armada how Optimus knew Scavenger from the Cybertronian wars. Hinting at the G1 great war.

G1 started it all, and should be kept for future references in any posterior stories that would be made.

keep Wheeljack as Wheeljack, Ratchet as Ratchet, Red alert as Red alert, et al.

What we need is a story teller, not a merchandising agent.

I really think that the tf series needs a consistant story time line. All these new lines since RID that keep resetting the story make it hard to get into the toys for me because they change so fast and hardly any are the same from series to series.

why don't you think it needs to be explained; to have a strong, solid and coherent storytelling, is to have a lasting fan support that can provide some neat ideas for future TFseries, which will help the franchise to become atemporal, and not confusing as it has become; Just like all the other superheroes and non s.h. contemporary stories that exist to this day. It's about pop culture we're dealing here, not some kids' stuff.

Didn't you complain or were afraid to have the new TF movie to be "kid oriented"?

They must become MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE! and it's about time.

Not to mention how laserbeak and scavenger were all of the sudden autobots, etc...

for sure its kid-oriented, i mean the toys are aimed at them.  the new re-telling of transformers is there so that writers arent tied down, by giving them the freedom they need they can re-tell however they want it. really, g1 ended a LONG time ago, its dead, give it up and be thankful for the homages from the new series. but somethings will always be the same, there will always be an autobot/cybertron, Decepticon/destrons, Prime/Convoy and megatrons.

I'd like to return to earth arrival, and re-introduce elements of transformers teams. You know, like the combaticons or dinobots. But obviously we'd need new characters/factions/teams. Maybe introduce a third main faction working against both decepticons and autobots,
