Well after all those suggestions, I believe it's finally time to BRING SOME ORDER TO THE GALAXY.

My suggestion is.... THE WAR WITHIN done through some cool CGI animation studio like... MAINFRAME!.

C'mon think about this we could finally have some stablished chronology in the TFU, begionning in a clean slate, but having some patrons as lead ins to the story we have all watched thru this 20 + years. maybe an explanation to all the different timelines or why do the TFs have a Multiverse instead of a single Universe.

We can go through year 0 to the Cybertronian exodus, to their crashland on Earth and then going on until the beginning of the movie P'haps.

Maybe also create an OVA style that chronicles all the different series stablishing some order finally to the series. I.E. a la MACROSS Aniversary movies and MACROSS zero episodes.

Also imagine that we could finally have some new decent MUSICAL score for this new beginning, not just the story and finally the figures, but also a really good score for our favorite RID, they could finally be More than meets the eye!

The time is now!....'TILL ALL ARE ONE!!!!! :clap  :tflaugh  :tfgrin

i voted more factions, but i liked the concept of Universe, Primus and Unicron hording the best for an all out final war some point down the line, but they never built on it and just let it flop...

We've had enough reboots already, Armada-verse, Dreamwave, IDW, the new movie. I hope we stick with something for a change.

I agree that they need to start over from the begining in order to pull it all together. Or they need to build a decent backstory like Masterminicon and I did in A Cross Over Story. Check it out http://www.TFans.com/talk/index.php?showtopic=16243

In the best of all possible worlds, the TF movie will do really well and lead to a high-quality, long-lasting animated series just like what happened with Batman.

I don't need order or Crisis style nuttiness. Just leave the current fiction be. It doesn't need esplainin' y0. My view on TF fiction is I don't care what approach they take, just deliver solid storytelling. And for that to happen it has to return to this side of the pond.

but what can we expect when the new movie hits?

new toys to collect, sure!, but what about their background?

Would it be worth? or like recent years...only crap?

I'm not against the characters, they all look cool, i love 'em!, but waaaay back in the early years we had some background for those figures, and were called TECHSPECHS, based on a storyline that has been alive thanks to many of us people that have grown to love the TF's concept :tflaugh  :tftongue

Something like the new IDW comics, which is fine by me. We don't need order and the characters do and have had backgrounds.

I hope that this new movie starts the new series that is supposed to start I believe the year after next.

Well Cybertron runs thru 06, then early 07 we have a filler line with no fiction, and then we have the movie line, which I would believe would be milked for atleast a year. So we are set until about mid-08 atleast.
