G.I. Joe Vs Transformers IV

this is being executed PERFECTLY!!!! And I'm loving how they are adopting War Within as the origin...trying to keep the Dream (wave) alive lol

How do you mean, i dont see much of anything relating to the WW story or characters designs that show that they revolve around WW descent. There were crummy pre earth designs in the first volume, but there are no pre-earth designs that ive seen so far in this volume.

Hes talking about story wise, read the first two pages in issue 2. Where Prime is talkig about his old job. Which is a reference to WW. :thumb

I think he was thrown in to establish which continuity its in more than anything else.

but Beast Wars is always a constant in any new continuity. It was in DW, OTFCC, IDW, and now DDP continuity. Now matter the number of variations on TF past and present, Beast Wars is considered one of the few constants among TF writers.

So, Beast wars is the one true canon?

It more like G1 & BW are all in one. Since BW is tied to G1 its just seems to be included when now dealing with G1 (or vice versa).  But I think showing Primal was an error, I think they got over zealous in showing some known characters.

no, showing Primal was just an easter egg, kinda like showing Kremzeek cola or Go-Bots in the DW G1 continuity. It doesn't have to make sense, it's just something for the fans.

Well this easter egg smells funny.
