It's cool stuff like this that makes me buy repaints. I'll be getting one no doubt about it.

 

IMO, this is how you do repaints. No more lame "Powerlinx" or "Energon" crap. Energon did well with repaints like Quickstrike and Beachcomber that majority would say was superior to their show colors. Cybertron went one step further and made them change factions and excellent color combinations.

 

To the naysayers, Hasbro's not forcing you to buy repaints. If you don't want it, don't buy it. Repaints help Hasbro sell more toys without having to go through another process of R&D, hence more profits to develop cooler toys in the future. With the Universe line virtually dead and Takara not planning to have a new series in the near future, there's no real avenue to fit in repaints.

BTW, as much as I appreciate the guys who take photos of these, woulc it kill them to show the back of the packaging? The bios at the back should make it a no-brainer.

hmmm i'm on the fence about this one. for one I love the jetfire mold but I'm not to sure about this color scheme. At any rate I'll wait till I see him in person, and then pass a judgement :thumb

Don't particularly like the Jetfire mold, but if I come across him and nothing else is in sight for miles on end I'll consider hin. :thumb 

Why couldn't they show this pic a few months earlier? I already have jetfire, but I like this one a whole lot better. Very nice colors. I'm pretty sure I'll get this one and use regular Jetfire as kitbash fodder.

 

Stupid Has/tak with their good looking repaints...why can't repaints just be awful like they were during G2 and MW.  :grr

I'm liking the Blitzwing vibe... I might actually get him.
