B/c all the ones people complained about from TRU were in plastic I thought. Plus when I just checked the Stepper re-issue that I bought (hadn't opened it yet), it was all plastic. Either way, I still prefer the originals to re-issues, but since this is a recolor and supposedly limited in numbers I bought it.

Sorry man, but Stepper has just as much die cast as Jazz did.

As for Astrotrain, I was allowed to open him because I let the GF open one of her presents... paint-apps-wise, I love him.  As far as the figure itself, mine came straight out of the package looser than my G1 original is.  His legs not only won't stay down in position, but he insists on doing the splits as well.  (As far as that mold will allow, anyway.) :roll

Still a neat item to have though. :thumb

....waiting....

this will be my first Astrotrain ever, so I'm stoked.

You should enjoy him then.  Astrotrain was IMO by far the best triplechanger from G1... very convincing in both alt modes, and the bot mode doesn't really suffer from either of the alt modes kibble.  Very well designed... except for the stubby arms, and the way oversized gun.  Then again, I guess with those wimply little arms, a big ass gun is a plus.  :D

They got 3000 from the number of left over TFC #11 that they reboxed for this exclusive.  I mean come on, ehobby gave us anime, tfc gave us japanesse release, Hasbro should give us the American reissue instead of reboxed toys for a quick profit. And you cant say it cost an arm and a leg to import, because every online store has TFC #11 cheap right now, and if you can order from Hasbro's online stores, you can order a TFC #11.

Got mine yesterday.

I've been sick on and off and it was a nice surprise to wake up to. I like him. Teeny arms and all.

Got mine yesterday.  Haven't opened him yet, but I noticed the Decepticon stickers on the wings are way uneven.  Anyone else have this problem?  Are there extra Decep emblems on the sticker sheet?
