Lol. See? Granted, Tokyo's stores are long-since sold out, but the point stands.

At my Toys R Us, TFs are not very popular.  For example,  I hoarded 9 EX-02s easily, bought at least 8 dark ligers and picked up many free white Gaskets and exclusive minicons.

However, Soundwave is GONE.  The black variant will be popular.  Guaranteed!

Yet no further news since BotCon (Sept.)...

It's part of Hasbro's clever marketing strategy. By not having any new product for the holiday shopping season, they ensure that fan demand will be running high in January, just when they've all blown their Christmas cash on Xbox 360's.

Besides, it's already a pain for a completist on a budget to keep up with all the Cybertron releases that have come out. I'm actually more curious on how Hasbro will be padding the line for one more year considering 90% of the show characters have already been released.

Interest in Cybertron is going to wane pretty fast once the show's over...... but then I guess that's why they were talking about that possible filler series. Of course, with the movie not coming out for another 18 months, that'd have to be one heck of a filler series.

It better be. Without a show it would be quite difficult for Hasbro to sell a TF line to kids, unless they actually develop one themselves. For the toys however, I have more faith. As we've seen from the many non-show TFs since Energon, we have some very nice stuff.
