A few of the G1 combiners came with ramps...arialbots, stunticons and combaticons if i remember correctly.  They are used to connect with the leaders of ithe group.  The leaders are suppose to transform into "bases" somehow.  A little known fact...just like the arialbots combining with Metroplex for an "upgraded" Metroplex.

I used to put his gun in the head-hole in alt-mode as a kid, it added a lil' bit more play value.  :thumb

Also, G1 Onslaught could use that ramp, and form an add on type base with Trypticon, so could Road Master of the Combaticons. So not useless, just obscure.

It was a ramp to nowhere...  :tflaugh

Energon stars. They are totally literally useless. If all bots had a small light in their bodies it would have made sense but you know...

I like his little gun. It looks like a real gun and stores away so nicely. Now if that were his only gun, I'd be pissed.

It does serve the purpose of being an engine, drive-shaft or not. But it is pretty lame.
