Can anyone tell me the name/number of the episode where Galvy blows up a planet?  I've never seen that one and now i'm all interested and stuff.

It in  g1 season 3 Five faces of darkness.  It's the episode where Galvatron

returns to lead,  five faces of darkness part 4, ep 69

He also blows up Webworld

He also blows up Webworld

Webworld was not completely destroyed, he just did severe damage to the

planet.  It wasn't blown up beause they were still on the planet after Galvatron

did his damage, and Cyclonus said it would take centuries to repair the damage.

That was the best line in the entire G1 NorAm Transformers Cartoon series. Hands down.  :thumb

i still doubt how the galvatron can destroy a planet.only use his gun? cant believe!!

:redface

Galvatron destroyed the equivalent of a small moon covered in lava pits or 'baths' this was due to the effect so absorbing the lavas' energy.

quite impressive, but a flook.

in reguards to the planet in web world, i though it was a lame endding, he could have gained control of the planet and turned it into a power mad superweapon.........that would have been quite cool.

Who knows what a Transformer can or cannot do?  :tftongue

In Star Wars the Death Star can also easily destroy a planet and in Star Trek Nemesis a weapon was created that could eradicate all life on a planet. Not to mention the Genesis device.

So I can imgagine a really powerful Transformer doing the same. Of course it also help aming at the planet's weak spot. :tflaugh

Well, it kinda depends on if you consider Unicron a planet, in which case Rodimus Prime technically did (matrix is no bomb).
