Recently in my local Toys 'R' Us, I noticed that they had Armada Tidal Wave on sale for $14.99, down from $29.99. I was tempted to get him the first time around because I have an interest in naval warfare, but I was concerned about what looked like a lack of movement in robot mode (I prefer toys with good articulation). Now that he's on sale, though, I'm tempted again. Does this sound like a good deal to you? Is he worth the $15? Do you recommend him?

P.S. I much prefer the Armada colors over the Energon repaint, so please don't suggest getting E-Tidal Wave instead. Besides, Armada is cheaper. :thumb

hes got good articulation save for knees, he doesnt have knee joints, but he's got good movement imo, 7/10 compared to the energon guys but 9/10 for armada, he's as moveable as jetfire of armada line, save for a neck joint

just remember when you put him into robot mode he cant fire his missles and the missles will fire as soon as he's in robot mode so dont loose them

why always so much doubt about cheap TFs?

heh, i got mine for $12 at k-mart (ok my friend got it for me but still i own it so :tftongue) 15 is also a good deal for a good looking brick!

Dude, get it. I think it is worth every penny even at full price

I got another one at kmart for 12 as well... nice getting 1/2 price armada stuff...

I'd buy the Lime Green shoulder Armada tidalwave for 15 bucks.
