I didn't get this mold back in Armada (in fact I skipped armada almost altogether), so when I saw this remold with longrack's head, I do love it now.  Just got it from Target, haven't open it yet. 

 

For the owners of this figure, love it? hate it?

i have it, its great, it does have problems standing though.  Other than that, a pretty nice figure with a a nice color scheme.

Love it!  I have BW Longrack, and C Longrack looks like it be his WW form ITS GREAT! my only grip is the Cybertron one's head is smaller then the BW's.  Thats it,  I like the mold more with longracks head on it then with the Armada head on it. 

Absofreakinglutely love it.

 

I have the Armada variation, and though I passed him up until the very end he surprisingly became one of my favorites in the entire Armada line. :thumb Not too crazy about his alt mode but the bot mode is rewarding enough. Don't expect much articulation in the arms considering he has a claw for one hand and a gigantic shovel for the other but he does have awsome leg articulation, and a waist which is becoming increasingly rare on deluxes. Hoist's head sculpt is also probably one of the best.

 

I definitely intend to grab the Cybertron variation someday as well. The colours just sell it, and he no longer needs a crappy minicon(Refute :puke) to activate his feature gimick.

 

Also for those of you who didn't bother with Armada, Cybertron Blurr is also a must have if you never bothered with the original. Plenty of retooling, awsome colours, and a great G1 head sculpt/homage.

 

As for Buzzsaw, and Runamuck, I'll let you decide those on your own. :tfgrin

I like Longrack alot, more than I even liked Hoist. The nice head and interesting plunger peice, combined with the constructiony deco really does it for me.

I love longrack.  He's the only armada remold I wanted badly.

Armada actually. :tflaugh

 

In cartoon continuity he was Hoist refurbished from Armada Smokescreen after Megatron tore a hole through him.. :thumb

The only thing I don't like about him is that you can't have an entire minicon team connected to him. The Armada version you could have the Adventure team connected to him(the jeep was the only one that looked proper in his hand). But I can't have the Cybertron Land Military team connected to him, however the Land Millitary team looks like they should belong to longrack because they both are colored with warm colors and stripes.

Oddly enough i love the Armada one as well.  And is one of the few Armadabots i still have on display with the rest of my collection as space is extremely limited.  Wasnt his name Smokescreen though in Armada? i remember just always thinking it was a WTF name for a crane.... I think i always called mine Wheeljack. dont know why.

 

i passed on his C-version.... the only Cybertron A-repaint i wanted was Blurr.

 

My blurr review if anyone cares:

 

He's the only Armada Repaint that i wanted - he is the bot i thought i was getting 3 years ago.

I do have some complaints about the figure though... Although overall i like the remold/recolor (and not JUST the G1 head but yeah that too) -

He still REEKS of shell former - i mean essentially his TF scheme is fold up legs and hide under car shell.  While his bot mode has a HUGE -CAR ON MY BACK syndrome... and with all that he still doesnt have knees!

 

Now with the Remold - the missles dont quit fit into the launchers in car mode but thats forgivable i suppose.  Also he doesnt hold them very well.

My armada Blurr - is in storage but i seem to recall that he had a better gun holding strategy...
