If you were to create the new TFormers game

G1 Based FPS, with third-person alt mode. Similar to what TFQ attempted but with today's technology.

create a versus mode.

I'd like something like a Metal Gear Solid/Splinter Cell-esque game (although not a MGS/SC clone). It could be either G1, as during that time all of Cybertron was under Decepticon control, or during GF. It doesn't really matter to me.

I liked the whole "Decepticlone" idea from Melbourne House's Armada game, as that gave you heaps of cannon fodder, and the Decepticon characters can come in as super powered bosses.

The idea of using guile rather than extreme brute force to obtain objectives appeals to me.

Okay, Generation 1 version of the Armada game, or something similar... but instead of decepticlones actually decepticons with the more major Decepticons as bosses.

But Xbox and xbox 360 games also...not just PS2

The new TF game should be G1 inspired with several very different characters for multiple play varieties.

Optimus should be an allrounder, Bumblebee relatively weak but with excellent spy and stealth abilities, Grimlock slow but incredibly strong and so on.

Of course one should also be able to play as the Dececeptions which in some respects is easier.

Alternately one should be able to create a new character with own alt mode(s) from a group of existing models.

The game should consist of missions of various types. Racing missiongs (which, sadly excludes) Grimlock, flight missions and of course missions like the ones from the Armada game. For each mission a character has to be selected.

Upgrades go to all characters in the team. Much like in Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic.

A race mission could be that one has to race a Stunticon in order to reach a battle site first. You come in last, then you lose or have a disadvantage.

Environments should be destructivble to the max so in cities players have to make sure not too damage too much if they are Autobot (because if you do, humans will see you as a threath) or damage as much when they are Deception.

The game should have plenty of upgradable weapons, both guns and melee and have lots of combo's as well.

Of course I would also like some RPG elements, not only being able to upgrade your character but also being able to influence the game. With the personalized character one should have to interact with humans and other Transformers which influences the character.

Say one has created an Auobot and your opponent raced off giving you the option of following him or saving a human. Taking the first will make you a little more evil. So will talking rudely and that sort of stuff. Again a concept seen in Knights Of The Old Republic.

The game could also contain an added on arcade version utilizing maps of the levels features in the regular game. In this game all that needs to be done is bash. The more opponents one bashes, the more points one get and more upgrades/combo's and weapons can be bought.

This mode should also have co-op and vs modes. Naturally simple versions of the flight and race sequences is cool too.

The game should be released on all systems so no one misses out.

1 thing that was missing from the armada game was the need to use the alt mode i think i only once needed to transform to cross a gap on the first map

i used hot shots alt mode a ton to dodge fire.

It was also fun TFing to Truck mode as Prime after landing on Tidal Wave's deck and going 'Bowling for Decepticlones' with the baddies that were there.

it's even more fun as hotshot with one hit kills on :D

personally i would have a create a character mode (it would probably have to be limited though so alt modes work and you can choose special abilities)

missions as autobots you have to rescue humans mainly from generic decepticons(think the last game with minicons some humans help create new weapons and upgrades)

each level ends with a final decepticon battle (final must be prime vs megatron on autobot city)

every

personally i loved the Armada game i just wish it had more levels and more characters to play as.  As well, the minicons shouldn tbe generic but actually minicons.

It would be cool if they updated it for Cybertron, and you got to choose Between Prime, Hotshot, Overhaul and Landmine in the Begining and as you go on in the game you get more characters and upgrades (Leobreaker, Defense Team, etc).  and have like Flying levels where you get to be Optimus in flight mode, vector prime or jetfire.  You still have to Collect minicons but you can also Find Force Chips that act as power inhancers AND are like the "datacons" from the armada game

either way im sure we will see a new game when the new movie comes out

I don't like the Idea of Decepticlones that much, if you need generics make it generic seekers for the Decepticons, and E-Hobby style repaints for the Autobots

If there were a new TFormers game I'd update the news section more often.
