Box art doesnt change the bricktastic figure

Galvatron has articulation at the hips,  knees,  and elbows.

Aside from swinging upwards, his arms also swing outwards

'He' also rotates at the waist.

By 1986 standards that was very good

By todays standards:

It's more articulated than  figures from Energon such as Mega/Galvatron the combiners, Starscream and Jetfire to name a few.

(I'm not going to go rooting around taking Cybertron/GF stuff out of their boxes to compare......)

Actually.....

Energon Megs/Galvy has joints at his neck, shoulders (x2), elbows, forearms, hips (x2), and knees.

But yeah.

Galvatron is not a brick, and is in fact one of the most poseable toys in G1.  (And that is not damning with faint praise.  I think only he loses to Jetfire for not being able to turn his head.)

He's got universal shoulder movement, elbows, waist rotation, hips, knees, and toes.

wasnt comparing him to 20 year old tech or g1 ;) and ....no its not a patch on what i consider to be decent figures, I dont care about how many points of this that and the other he has, fact is even armourhide has far more posability than this. For a figure of this size its comparative tech is rubbish, granted its not Star convoy bad but still poor.

i think before x-max day

A cool drawling on the box does not make the show accurate colors any more accurate then they are, because they are not! lol. THe original colors are more show accurate then this baby purple crud! It is ALL wrong! And at any rate...I still have an MIB original galvatron so why would I even need one of these and since it is way UNaccurate and Ugly colors....I will def pass....although the box art IS sweet, that is about it!

I'd buy a black (clear, gold or chrome) repaint of anything, so the coloring issue isn't stopping me from buying this one.
