while watching starscreams gost (the series 3 ep, not being haunted) i noticed that not only is cyclonus  off model (he is based on the original *better* design) but the background music is not season 3 at all. its season 1/2. i personally really enjoyed this touch, but i'm not quite sure that it was intentional. it did highlight the fact that the season 3 soundtrack actually detracts from the episodes rather than the revised cast, or the new cybertron /space locales. watching that episode felt so G1ish compared to other episodes in season 3 if that makes sense. i mean in the way that G1 had an adventurish fun aspect that was there in the first 2 seasons but nor really in the third. watch that episode again and tell me what you think!

Yea I don't like how they used songs from the movie. It was pretty lame.

hmmm... i wouldn't really say that the S3 sountrack was from the movie... all i can think of is the use of the touch in TRoOP.

INH bound. I thought season 3 sucked cause the Animation looks like the artist were trippin on acid.

Some of the musical themes were taken from Vince DiCola's work in TF:TM, though the music was clearly re-recorded and (IMO) massively ghey-ified. They also didn't start using that music right away in Season 3 -- maybe it wasn't done in time, who knows. IMO the best G1 music was anything pre-season 3 that didn't have any ghey electric guitar in it.
